Our landscape paintings are conceptualized. As Maithillee believes, that copying art is easy but creating your own creation is even more difficult. So she captures images of landscapes through photography then combines & sketches those images to make 1 composition. 

Her landscapes depict serenity through waterfalls mainly. She believes, if a person has a waterfall painting in his/her home/office, it would bring goodluck in terms of financially, bring positivity & happiness in abundance.

Maithillee has always been fascinated by the intricacies & craftsmanship on architectural monument, forts & palaces of India. She started experimenting creating these architectures in black + white while using mixed mediums on paper. She believes, that black + white is an interpretation of reality & they flourish even today. They take attention away from the texture, tonal contrast, shape, form & lighting effects with a touch of colour as well. So that's how Maithillee fell in love with black + whites & still enjoys exploring & experimenting new techniques while creating her works.
